Master: Year 5 - Master of Arts in UX/UI Design & Development

The Master of Arts in UX/UI Design & Development offers the cutting-edge conceptual design methods and technical skills to become the visual storytellers, communication designers and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. This innovative program fosters students’ creativity, develops their user experience, design-thinking and collaborative skills and connects them to a faculty of specialists with unparalleled industry experience and connections throughout the world.

Students are diving into a rigorously tailored curriculum that meets the demands of today's market.

Students must earn 30 US credits (60 ECTS) in one academic year (2 semesters): Fall semester (from September to December), Spring semester (from January to May)

Admission requirements:

• International applicants must provide evidence of English proficiency: minimum of 80 (Internet based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or a minimum of 105 on DUOLINGO.
• 4-Year Bachelor or equivalent ( 240 ECTS)"
• No EFAP degree awarded

Program

Fall Semester: 4 compulsory courses + 1 elective - 15 US credits

UX Design Foundations (3 credits)
  › Human Computer Interaction Design (3 credits)
  › Research & Data Analytics (3 credits)
  › Usability & Testing (3 credits)

Spring Semester: 4 compulsory courses + 1 elective or 1 internship - 15 US credits

User Interface & Prototyping Design (3 credits)
  › UX/UI Design for VR/AR/MR (3 credits)
  › Information Architecture & Content Strategy (3 credits)
  › Master Project (3 credits)

Eligibility for Optional Practical Training (OPT): 1 year work authorization in the U.S EFAP New York assists students in the application for the Optional Practical Training (OPT).

In brief:

• 2 semesters starting in September
• 30 US credits / 60 ECTS
• 10 courses including one internship
• American Diploma (=BAC +5)
• OPT: 2 years work authorization

Double diploma

In 5th year, several programs are offered: a Joint Graduate Program between EFAP and the NYIT’s School of Management (100% in English).

The Joint program offers a response to the increasing demand from international companies and agencies for managers prepared for strategic roles in communication and marketing.

Our participants will be offered a structured sequence of communication and marketing courses taught in English in two different countries: France and the US, each with a distinctive culture and set of business practices.

4 possibilities offering a course in New York as part of the 5th year:

• Specialized MBA Luxury Communication & Strategies + Advanced certificate in Marketing
• Specialized MBA Communication & Fashion Industries + Advanced certificate in Marketing
• Specialized MBA Communication & Marketing Strategic + Advanced certificate in Marketing
• Specialized MBA Advertising Creation & Strategy + Advanced certificate in Marketing

2 phases over a 12-month period:

• Phase 1: EFAP Paris/Bordeaux/Lille/Lyon - from September/October to December
• Phase 2: NYIT (School of Management) - from January to August

Get an MBA at NYIT’s School of Management, accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business).

It has been designed to prepare students and professionals from diverse international and academic backgrounds for future leadership roles in our global economy.

Students must earn 30 US credits (60 ECTS) in 2 semesters: Fall (September to January) & Spring (January to May). The program can be started in September or January.
